MARTON RACES.
On 2nd and 3rd January, special cheap excursion tickets to Marton, available for return until 4th January, will be issued at Foxton, Palmerston North, and intermediate stations, only by morning train leaving Foxton. These trains connect with special race trains leaving Palmerston 10.3 a.m. (2nd), 9.20 a.m. (3rd). Return trains leave Marton 5.35 p.m. (2nd), 5.50 p.m. (3rd). Connecting train for Foxton leaves Palmerston North 7.0 p.m. on 2nd, and 7.30 p.m. on 3rd ! . 1
