ALL SAINTS’ CHILDRENS HOME
CHRISTMAS PARTY.
Mr. and Mrs. J. Bett entertained the inmates of All Saints’ Children’s Home at a Christmas Party on Friday evening, and a very happy time was spent. The table groaned beneath its weight of delicacies, on the centre of which was a bip iChristmas cake. The host and hostess received the thanks of the children in characteristic fashion and the party will he remembered as one of the jolliest in their memory. On Wednesday the children will bo conveyed to Palmerston for five weeks and they don’t appreciate the change. They would much prefer to spend the holidays where they are. This is always the fly in the ointment and they can’t understand why they should be transferred from their happy environment at a time when the Beach is most attrac-. tive to them. The children in the Palmerston home will occupy the Beach home during the period mentioned,
