“ONLY CHILDREN.”

MARRIED COUPLE DISAGREE. Auckland, Yesterday. “It is absurd, you are only children,” said Mr. Justice Reed to-day in refusing the petition of Colin Edward Senior Lawrence for an order for restitution of conjugal ..rights against, his wife, Florence Rose Senior Lawrence.

His Honour observed that he did not think he would be doing his duty if he granted the order and advised the petitioner to see his wife and try to get her to return.

Counsel said that the parties were only 21 when they were married in January of this year. The cause of the trouble is due to the mother-in-law who expected her daughter to do too much work. Her husband objected, and as a result of ensuing disagreements the wife left him. His Honour: “A love match, and yet it lasted less than three months.” Petitioner: “I want her back, but it is impossible to live with hei mother.”
