CORRESPONDENCE.

(To the Editor)

Sir,—Would it not be possible for the Borough Council to limit the number of shop days to say one a month? The holding of shop days for deserving objects are legitimate but what I and many other people object to is being pestered in the street to buy tickets and taking a guess on the weight of things in connection with the shop. In the past there has been too much of this nuisance and the Borough Council should take steps to regulate the practice. Thanking you in anticipation. I am, etc., RESIDENT.
