LABOURER BEFORE COURT.

“This man has a wife and seven children, and for a long time past he has neither done any work nor tried to get work,” said Senior-De-tective Quirke in the Palmerston North Magistrate’s Court at Palmerston North on Thursday, when Messrs W. F. Durwood and A. J. Graham, J.'P.’s were on the Bench.
