POSTAL NOTICES.
CHRISTMAS AMD NEW YEAR HOLIDAYS. The following hours will be observed at the local Post Office during Christmas and New Year:— 24th December 1927: —A delivery of correspondence will be made over the counter between 7 and 8 p.in. i 25th December (Sunday), telephone exchange open 9 to 10 a.m., and 5 .to 6 p.m. 26 th December (’Xmas Day). Telephone exchange open 9 to 10 a.m., and 5 to 6 p.m. 27th December (Boxing Day). Telephone exchange open 9 to 10 a.m., and 7 to 8 p.m. Mails will be despatched, (closing at 6 a.m.), for Wellington, Palmerstop North and Taranaki. Post and Telegraph office closed all day. 28th, December: Business as usual. 31st December: A delivery of correspondence will be made over the public counter, between 7 and 8 p.m. Ist January, 1928 (Sunday). Telephone exchange open 9 to 10 a.m., and 5 to 6 p.m. 2nd January.(New Year’s Day). Telephone exchange open 9 to 10 a.m., and 7 to 8 p.m. Mails will be despatched, closing at 6 a.m. for Wellington, Palmerston North and Taranaki. Post and Telegraph office closed all day. 3rd January: Business as usual.
