TRIANGULAR CONTEST TOMORROW.
Weather permitting, the second round of the Triangular Shield contest, postponed from last week, will be played on Foxton green tomorrow afternoon. Local players selected for this contest are requested to be on the green prompt at 2 o’clock.
Bowlers and croquet players are asked to bring a basket to assist with the catering arrangements.
At Levin on Saturday, an Eketaluina rink, skipped by W. Simpson, secured the Dixon Cup from the Levin holders, the scores being 19 14.
Mr F. J. -Mantel! notilies by advertisement in this issue that he has now opened up a large stock of children's high-grade boots anti shoes.
