POSTAL NOTICES.

In order to secure as far as possible the distribution of Christmas messages over a number of days, the public are requested to assist the post office by posting correspondence and printed, matter and by sending telegraphic greetings as many days before Christmas as possible. This .will be of advantage to the public in ensuring delivery before Christmas Day. Telegrams containing the text “Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year,” and bearing the instruction “Greetings” will be accepted from the public on the 19th, 20th, 21st,' 22nd, 23rd and 24th December, at a uniform charge of 6d, provided the address and signature together do not contain more than eleven words, any.excess to be charged id a word. . On the 28th, 29th, 30th and 31st Decembei*, telegrams containing the text “Wishing you a Happy New Year” will be accepted at the same rate, and on the same conditions.
