MANAWATU RABBIT BOARD.
MONTHLY MEETING. , The monthly meeting of the Manawatu Rabbit Board was held in the secretary’s office on Thursday, presided over by Br. B. G. Gower (Chairman). Also present were: Trustees R. Boswell, J. F. McKelvle, J. Gloyn, W. E. Barber, F. C. Kaikes, and the secretary (Mr. R. Rangiheuea). Mr. D. R. Barron (Inspector), was also in -attendance. Apologies for absence were received from Trustees D. Fleming and T. A. Grammar. Accounts amounting to £65 14s 7d, were passed for payment. INSPECTOR’S REPORT. Tho inspector reported that since last meeting two properties at Himatangi had been inspected and found to be in good order. Notices have been posted to. ratepayers, re poisoning. McKenzie Island in the Rangitikei River was inspected and posion laid. The district as a whole was in a very good state with regard to rabbits:—Adopted.
