PERSONAL.

Mr. T. C. List, proprietor and editor of the “Taranaki News” aeeonipanied by Mrs. List, visited Foxt-on on Thursday while motoring through to Wellington. Mr. List stated that the main highway from Snndon to Foxton was the worst between here and Taranaki.

Mr. J. Golder, of Foxton, who met with a painful accident to his right hand, at Waipawa recently, while <on a holiday visit, is still undergoing treatment in the Wlaipukurau Hospital, but hopes to be able to regain the use of his hand shortly.
