CROQUET NOTES.
On Tuesday last the first of the ladder matches was played, Mrs. Owen (5 bisques) putting in a challenge to Mrs. Woods (44 bisques). The game throughout was interesting and resulted in a win for Mrs. Owen by seven points. Yesterday afternoon the competition games were played; only two players making points. To-day a team visited Palmerston North to take part in the second Inter-club match. A team from the Feilding Club will meet them on the Manawatu Green.
