Ideal weather condition prevailed for the tennis tournament held on the local courts on Saturday afternoon on the occasion of a visit from a combined team representative of Rongotea, Tiakitahuna, Kairanga, and Rangiotu. The match resulted in each side winning 12 sets, Foxton taking 148 games and the visitors 134 games. The following are the scores, the visitors being mentioned first:— Men’s singles.—Walker 2 v. C.
