SWIMMING RACES.
Despite the cold weather experienced on Thursday evening the public turned out in good force to witness the series of races put on by the Foxton Swimming Club for points prizes. They resulted as follows: Schoolboys 25 yards: —Stevenson (5 see.) 1, T. Perreau (5 sec.) 2, Moore (2 sec.) 3. Time 14 3-5 sec.
Senior men 50 yards: —Harrison (scr.) 1, G. Perreau (4 sec.) 2, Tawhiti (3 sec.) 3. Time 33J sec. Junior 25 yards:—-Moore (2 see.) 1, Hirini (scr.) 2, T. Perreau (3 sec.) 3.
•Relay Race: —A. Walls, G. Perreau, and Marshall (9 sec.), defeated W. Harrison, Tawhiti, and G. Hirini (scr.) Time 63£ sec. Distance 1.00 yards.'
Neat Diving: —G. Perreau 1, J Hirini 2.
