The contralto solos are allotted to Mrs. J. E. Ramsey (Wellington), who has also been engaged in the same capacity by the Royal Wellington Choral Union. Mr. William Watters (Palmerston North), baritone, has taken part in the “Messiah,” in Wellington, Auckland and the other 'principal centres in New Zealand. \ The tenor solos have been allotted to Mr. A. Mottershead (Levin), whose capabilities are so wellknown, and who has devoted a great deal of study towards perfecting his part. Patrons are assurred that a great musical treat is in store for them, as the Society has spared no pains or expense to make the production up to the standard of the large centres of population. The box plan is now open at Aitken’s and as booking is heavy early application for sehts is recommended. The music-loving public of Foxton should not fail to avail themselves of the opportunity of hearing Handel’s masterpiece.
