LICENSING AMENDMENT BILL.
PASSES ITS SECOND READING. After a lengthy debate the second reading of the Licensing Amendment Bill was carried in the House last night by 68 votes to seven, and is now entering the throes of the committee stage. It is difficult at present to state in .what condition it will emerge.
