FOXTON HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY.
It is expected that Mr Linklate'r, M.P., will be able to be present to open the Summer Show next Thursday. Given fine weather, there should be a record attendance. It should be noted that members’ tickets can be purchased for 5s gentlemen and 2s fid ladies, and which admits to all shows held by the Society during the year. The display of blooms in this year’s summer Show ought to be exceptionally good, as the total prize value of trophies and cash prizes is well over £3O. In the cookery section the points prize of 10s 6d, given by Miss J. Ross, was omitted from the schedule, and must not be overlooked by the cookery enthusiasts. Entries will be received by the secretary at Mr J. S.
