OBITUARY.

EDMUND JOHN OSBORNE, AGED 73 YEARS. There passed away at the Palmerston N. Hospital on Thursday last, a well-known ex-Foxton resident and business man in the person of Mr Edmund John Osborne, at the age of 73 years. The late Mr Osborne, many years ago, conducted a general store in Foxton, and subsequently removed to. Palmerston, where he continued in the diapery) trade for many years. He was a man of a cheery and optimistic disposition, and generous to a fault. He took a keen interest in the local Methodist Church and Sunday school, of which he was one-time superintendent. Mr A. Osborne and Mrs W. E. Bullard, of Foxton, are brother and sister . of deceased. He leaves a widow and grown up family to mourn their loss. The interment will take place at the h oxton cemetery to-morrow.
