ALL SAINTS’ LADIES GUILD.
s ♦ SUCCESSFUL SALE OF WORK. The sale of. work, organised by All Saints’ Ladies Guild and held in the Town Hall on Thursday afternoon and evening was well patronised and good business was done in all the stalls. There was a good attendance at the evening session, a special attraction being some fancy dancing by Mrs. Goodman’s pupils. Special mention in this connection must be made of Miss N. Pritchard’s exhibition. This young lady received a great ovation for her artistic work. Orchestral items were provided by Miss Stevenson’s well-balance orchestra,. ) Airs. P. Easton, secretary, and members of the guild are to be complimented upon the success of the effort which (will result in the raising of about £75. The following were in charge of the stalls: —Guild stall, Mesdames F. and W. Rboinson, Christie and Owen; cake stall, Mesdames S. Austin and Walton; produ'ce, Mesdames J. Robinson and Trueman, and Miss Grace Robinson; jumble stall, Mesdames Scabury, Carmont, > and R. Easton; sweets, Misses L. and N. Robinson and N. Woods; tea rooms, Mesdames Procter, Pearson, and Miss Gower.
