LOCAL GIRL’S SUCCESS. The annual sports of the Palmerston Girls’ High School was held yesterday. In the Junior Championship Miss M. McColl, of Foxton, was runnerup with 17 points. She was placed 2nd in the 150 yards flat run; Ist throwing cricket ball; 3rd 100 yards flat run; 2nd 50 yards flat run; Ist 25 yards flat yum Pick-a-back race: Misses M. McColl and P. Abbis 2; three-legged race: Misses J. Aitken and M. McColl 3. •
