BEBE DANIELS AT TOWN HALL.
Few comedies have come to the screen during the past twelve months that can compare in plot interest or swiftness with “A Kiss in a Taxi,” Bebe Daniel’s new Paramount starring picture to be screened at the Town Hall to-morrow evening. In it the vivacious cominedienne plays Gillette, bewitching waitress of the Parisian Montmartre. All patrons seek to kiss her, but she is untouchable, answering each advance with a fresh shower of glassware. Chester Conklin as Maraval, and Douglas Gilmore, Lucien, give splendid performances. With supports at usual Cabaret prices. Sally O’Neil will be seen on Friday in the highly humourous story of an Irish-Jewish family. It is “Frisco Sally Levy.” The big English film “Blighty,” has been booked for next Saturday. This is' described as a wonderful war film without a battle scene in it. Both the above attractions will be offered at usual prices.
