A friendly visit was paid to the Loyal Foxton Lodge on Tuesday night by jnembers of the Manchester Unity Independent Order of Oddfellows, P.G., Bro. Bell; P.G., Bro. Eachler; V.G., Bro. Framjee; Bro. Lankshear, Bro. C. Lyford (Publicity Officer), and Bro. Christenson (District Grand Master), representing the Palmerston N. and Feeding Lodges. Matters of general interest to Oddfellows were dealt with and nominations for offices to fill the various positions were closed.
The visiting members were accorded Lodge honours to which they suitably responded. During the evening the Girand Master addressed the members on matters relative to the) order at the conclusion of which he was accorded a vote of thanks.
AU the conclusion of business the lodge adjourned for harmony, after which a tasty supper was dispensed by the local brethren, the evening being brought to a close by the singing of “Auld Lang Syne.”
