FOXTON FOOTBALL CLUB BALL

A HUGE SUCCESS. The Foxton Football Club’s an- *9, rami ball, held in the Town Hall on Thursday night was an unqualified success and the Club’s funds will benefit as a result. Among those/ present were visitors from Wood- \ \ ville, Palmerston North, Levin and the adjacent districts. The decorations were both astistic and effective. The interior of the hall was festooned in yellow and black streamers (the club colours), with varicoloured balloons and on the stage curtain Avas depicted goal posts and oval. The supper-room interior and table decorations were equally effective. The music Avas supplied by Larkin’s orchestra with extras by several, of those present. The supper arrangements were undertaken by the enthusiastic ladies committee and called forth encomiums from those present. The committe desire to thank all thoseNvho assisted in any way to make the ball such a success and in this connection special praise must go to the energetic ladies committee without Avhose ecorts it would have been impossible to carry out the function successfully. The committee desire also to specially thank Mr. H. Reid (hall manager), for his assistance in decorating, etc,
