Harvey (Wairarapa). THE FINAL TRIAL. The final All Black trial game at Wellington Athletic Park yesterday afternoon was witnessed by 13,000 spectators, who were treated to a very one-sided game. Both back and forward, the Possibles outplayed the Probables, and scored a runaway victory by 44 points to 9. At the annual reunion of the Wanganui and Old Boys’ Club on Saturday evening the club trophies won during the season were presented by the president. The winners were as under: —Wakefield Cup, for best all-round player, ,H. Blythe (last year’s winner, H. Cox; Robertson Cup, for the most improved player, N. Ball (last year’s winner, R. Fulton); Mr. F. W. Searle’s special trophy, for the most improved player, N. Ball; Mr. A. F. Wilson’s trophy, for the best tackier, H. Blythe, anonymous trophy, for the best junior, A. McGregor; Mr. Hague Smith’s trophies for the best forward and best back in a special match, A. Binley and H. Blythe. N.Z. TEAM’S MATCHES. SUGGESTED ITINERARY. > Capetown, September 1. An idea of how the New Zealand Rugby team will spend its time in South Africa is afforded in the provisional itinerary drawn up by the South African Rugby Board and 1 forwarded to the various unions for consideration. The tour, on paper, appears to be one long journey, with a break here and there to play a match. The tour has been set out as follows by the board: — First match (Saturday) at Maritzburg. Leave Sunday for Pretoria, arriving Monday. Second match (Wednesday) at Pretoria. Leave Thursday for Johannesburg, arriving there same day. Third match (Saturday) at Johannesburg.
