THE ANNUAL BALL.
The annual ball, held under the auspices of the Hall Committee on Thursday night, was a brilliant success. The decorations, catering and music were on a lavish scale and the attendance was a record. The duties of M.C. were efficiently discharged by Mr. M. E. Perreau, who congratulated the committee on the splendid arrangements. The extras, which were keenly appreciated, were played by Messrs Newton and Graham.
It was decided to hold a bachelors ball on the 21st inst., and a committee was set up to carry out the arrangements.
