SALVATION ARMY.

Colonel and Mrs Knott, assisted by Brigadier Macaulay and Captain Tyson, conducted the meetings at tlie Salvation Army last Sunday. Attendances throughout the day were good. At the special meeting in the afternoon, at which the Mayor (Mr Perreau) presided, the Colonel gave a very interesting and instructive lecture entitled, “Ti*avels in Many Lands.” Having worked in Denmark, Iceland, Palestine, Egypt, Alaska, Canada, and other countries, he was able to interest his hearers with stories of the life and work of the people of those lands.

A splendid evening service concluded a very profitable and successful series of meetings.
