MASTERTON WOMAN DEAD ELEVEN DAYS.

HUSBAND’S TRAGIC DISCOVERY

Masterton, Last Night,

Elizabeth Laing, a married woman, aged about sixty, was found dead in bed in her home this afternoon. It is believed that death took place about eleven days ago. The husband had been away at his farm attending lambing operations for three weeks and failure to get an answer to telephone calls aroused his suspicions. A doctor states death was due to heart failure. An inquest will be held to-morrow.
