SHUNTING FATALITY.
Invercargill, August 31. Leslie Cummings, single, aged 26, while engaged in shunting at Makerewa to-day, slipped while attending to the train couplings, and a wheel passed over him, inflicting shocking injuries. Death was instantaneous.
