MADMAN ON TRAIN.
TWO WOMEN TERRIFIED.
STRUGGLE IN CAR. Bathurst, August 25. Two lady residents of Bathurst luul an exciting experience with a demented man while travelling by train from Sydney to Bathurst yesterday. The man, who, it' is said, was recently 'discharged from a mental asylum, entered the carriage at Sydney, and began to play up shortly after the train left Strathfield. * It was only after a struggle that the women prevented him from jumping out of the window on several occasions. The women were almost terror'stricken at the man’s behaviour, and there were times when it looked as if they would be attacked. On arrival at Mount Victoria the qnan attempted to jump through the window of the train on to the platform. Railway officials grabbed him, and handed him over to the police.
