PERSONAL.
Mr. and Mrs. W. Kirkland left this week on a trip to the South Rea Islands.
Captain and Mrs. Stone, who were in charge of the local corps of the Salvation Army, some time back have returned to Foxton, where they intend to take up their residence. The friends'of Mr. C. Podmore, who is an inmate of the Palmerston Hospital, will regret , to learn that his condition this morning was repoted to be causing anxiety.
