CLAIM FOR COMPENSATION.
£11,426 AWARDED.
Gisborne, August 27. The Compensation Court awarded George Lawless £11,426 in satisfaction of his claims against the Gisborne Harbour Board. The compensation is for land taken for harbour purposes. Lawless claimed £28,415. Mr. Justice Ostler announced that the Court’s decision -was unanimous. Each party will pay its own costs. ■
