Gilbert, of Moutoa, who has been an inmate of the Palmerston North Hospital for some time, will be pleased to learn that he expects to leave that institution to-day. The death occurred at Wellington yesterday morning of Mi 1 . W. J. Morpeth. Deceased, who was in his 88th year, was a former 'Civil Servant. He arrived in New Zealand at an early age from Prince Edward Island. He leaves a widow and live sons and three daughters.
