JUDGE MAKES SURE
LONDON, Aug. 6. “The Lordg Chancellor signed the paper with his own hand, and affixed to it the Great Seal of England, but the Brazilian Count declined to act on it,” said counsel, when applying in the Chancery Court for an order that a ranch in which the well-known financier, Gerald Lee Bevan, was interested, should be vested in the Bankruptcy Trustee. Counsel added that “the Brazilians accept nothing but a High Court judgment.” Mr Justice Astbury: Don’t they want a photograph, top? I shall sign the order in the presence of a notary.
