King Country. August 20.—Manawhenua v. Auckland, at Auckland. August 20. —Manawatu v. Southern Hawke’s Bay, at Woodville. August 24. —Manawhenua v. Waikato, at Hamilton. August 27.—Manawhenua v. Wellington, at Wellington. August 31. —Manawhenua v. Tar ranaki, at Palmerston. September 3. —Manawhenua v. Wanganui, at Palmerston. September 7. —Manawhenua v. Canterbury, at Palmerston. September 14. —Manawhenua v. Otago, at Levin. A reminder is given of the practice for the Foxton Juniors this evening at 6.30 o’clock sharp. A full muster requested. Team to be given instruction by Mr. Roore. Wanganui Technical College defeated Te Aute College at Rugby football at Wanganui on Monday by 27 points to 6.
