“THE MAGICIAN.”

“The Magician,” which heads tonight’s programme at the Town Hall features Alice Terry and was filmed in Monte Carlo and Paris. The story of the new picture is that of a girl'caught between 'the forces of a Magician, whom she is unable to resist, and the love for a young surgeon who has saved her from being a helpless cripple by performing a delicate operation on her spine. Ingram has taken the Somerset Maugham story, and with his usual brilliance has developed a powerfully romantic drama. Also “My Stars” (comedy), and other supporting pictures. Usual prices. “3 BAD MEN.”

On Monday only, the big special “3 Bad Men,” will grace the Town Hall screen. The story records the glamorous episode of the opening of Indian lands by free grants to the whites. Playing the .title roles of the strangely assorted trio, the card sharp, the horse thief, and the desperado, are Frank Campeau, J. barrel McDonald, and Tom Santchi, while the part of the youthful hero is played 1m George O’Brien. Olive Borden is the winsome orphan under the care of the terrorizing three. Altogether the cast totals 25,000 and. the exciting scenes, are evenly balanced by humorous episodes. Truly a great film is “3 Bad Men.” Prices 1/- and 2/-. Children half price.
