FOOTBALL.

On Saturday, Foxton Juniors are to meet Miranui, at Miranui, in the first game of the Nash Knock-out competition. A. George will referee.

The following is the team selected to play Miranui Juniors, at Miranui, on Saturday, in the Nash Knock-out competition: —

Wallis, Williams, Broad, Huff, Ross, Stevenson, W. Chritie, Rankin, Hartley, Scott, Ilornblow, Royal, Wright, Spence Hetta. Emergencies : Hunt, McKnight. A meeting of the Committee of the Junior players of the Club will be held in the practice shed at 6.45 o’clock sharp this evening. As the business is important, and a dicussion will take place re the Knock-out competition, a full attendance is requested. On Saturday next, at the Levin Domain, a primary schools seven-a-side competition is to be played for the Noad Shield. The following are the Foxton school teams: —

A. —M. Gardner, J. Hirini, B. Coley, 11. Gardner, K. Matthews, R. Coley, R. Rickerby.

B. —W. Graham, B. Gardner, H. Rossiter, M. Adams, P. Easton, L. Thompson, E. Hofmann. Emergency: S. Bills.
