GOLD FOUND
PROSPECTING AT KAWARAU
Dunedin, This Day. On the Kawarau River last week the Vogel’s Vision and Natuial Bridge Companies have laid open patches of virgin ground. The former company secured a Aveek’s return of 140 z., easily a record for the river to d/ate. For two days tAvo men Avere employed and for the rest of the Aveek four men. The gold is a very heavy sample, and the manager reports that excellent prospects still continue.
