EXPELLED FROM WORKERS UNION.

Hamilton, July 29,

A meeting of the Arapuni workers was informed by Mr. Williams, the Dominion organiser, that Messrs Kelly and Lake and the recent strike executive had been expelled from the New Zealand Workers’ Union and that new officials were necessary for the local branch.

The workers decided to consider the proposal later. It appears to be the contention of the men that if a vote of no-confi-dence was passed on Kelly and his associates in the recent strike it should have come from the men and not from Wellington.
