A committee of the North Canterbury Hospital Board reported today in the case of Mrs. Mclvnight, who died from a fractureld skull 'after being discharged andi then readmitted to the hospital, .and found that there was_a lack of careful investigation of the case by the konprary surgeon and houses surgeon, and lack of observation by the sister in charge of the ward.
