THE AWAHOU RIDING.

The engineer reported as follows on the Awahou riding at Wednesday’s meeting of the Mariawatu County Council: —

“Repair metal was carted along No. 2 and No. 6 Line, and owing to the flooded condition of the Wjhirokino Road it has been impossible to carry out repairs along the above road. The contractor for blinding the Foxton Beach Road has completed his contract. The HimatangiFoxton and the Himatangi-Rangiotu roads have been trimmed up with the grader several times since my last report and repair metal has been supplied at various places along the line.
