PERSONAL
Mr B. G. Gower, of Foxton, was appointed a member of the general committee of the Manawatu A. and P. Association at the monthly meeting of that body on Tuesday to replace Mr E. Short, of Fcilding, who resigned some time ack. Friends of Mr. J. Logan Stout, S.M., will be pleased to learn that he is making satisfactory progress after his recent illness. He is still confined to his home, but will probably leave in the course of a week or so on a trip for the benefit of his health.
