THE BURWOOD MURDER.

ELECTRIC TORCH FOUND.

Christchurch, July 4. The only new development in connection with the Bnrwood murder case is the finding of a small electric flash torch, with a battery, on the property of Mrs E. Clifton King. There was a tag on the torch containing the address of a North Island resident. The torch was found about 50 yards from the scene of the crime, when scrub clearing work was in progress, and it was handed to the police. It is not certain whether the torch has any connection with the crime.
