W. C. FIELDS IN “SO’S YOUR
OLD MAN.”
As an inventor of unbreakable, glass he mixes Fords in the test and fails to convince the prospective buyers. The irate owners of the broken windscreens form a deputation of departure. On his way home his friendship for a lady is misconstrued into an affair and thus Ids arrival is not a thing of joy. Put you will laugh till you cry at Field’s in “So’s Your old Man,” his latest Paramount picture which comes to the Town Hall Cabaret next Wednesday. Also comedy and news. Usual Cabaret prices. A critic says of “The Temptress,” screening at the Town Hall, Friday. Ibanez never wrought a more powerful and alluring story than this tale of a girl who gambled with men, love, life itself! Dramatic! Colourful! Romantic! A great production, directed by Fred Niblo, with a great east plus Greta Garbo, the flaming’ new film beauty. Usual prices.
