FEWER REDS IN BRITAIN. LONDON, June 15 The political correspondent of the Daily Mail says that Moscow officials are peeved owing to their failure to stir up revolutionary feelings in BriU A report issued by the Communist International states that during the second half of 1926 the membership of tho British Communist Party declined by 105 in London, 75 in Birmingham, and 200 in Sheffield. Applications for membership have totalled 3600, but the majority left again when their enthusiasm had died down. . . , , “How can Communists expect to consolidate their, influence on the trades unions and the Labour I arty with only 12,000 members?” the report asks.
