RAILWAY OFFICERS.
WELLINGTON, June 23,
The annual conference railway officers was concluded on Wednesday when the following officers were elected President, Mr Stanley (Wellington); vice-presidents, Messrs Skinner, Carroll. McAloon and Barnes; executive committee. Messrs Fiiidlayson, Good ley. Macdonald, Croudis, Hardie, Henderson and Biscli; general treasurer. Mr Barclay; auditors, Messrs Alington and Polilcn. The new building .scheme was fully discussed and the conference authorised the committee to proceed with the proposal subject to satisfactory financial arrangements being made. During the conference the Railway Board was met and a number .of general matters affecting the service wore discussed.
