SHOPPING WEEK
The local shopping week and window spotting competition, arranged - by local business people was brought to a close on Saturday night. During the week the shop windows were made specially attractive and the displays reflected credit upon those concerned and attracted a good deal of attention by locaLand district people. Business people who participated in the attraction report that the effort was justified by results and increased business was reported. The general opinion is that the next effort, which will include a wider range of attractions, will bo even more successful. y. „ Several of the prizes for win* dow spotting have not yet claimed.
