JACK HOLT IN ZANE GREY’S
STORY,
“Forlorn River,” Znne Grey’s popular novel and which ran as a serial in the “Lqdies' Home Journal,” conies lo the Town Hall Cabaret on Wednesday, in the form of a Paramount picture. The east includes .Jack Holt, Arlette Marehal, Raymond Hatton, Edmund Burns, Tom Santschi and many others. The locale of the story is laid in and about the Grand Canyon, where, as Jack Holt says in comparing his life to the “Forlorn River,” it runs its crooked course, forlorn and lonely. The picture is worthy of its beautiful outdoor scenes, painted and devised by nature and for a mile-a-minute action, which never ceases from the start of the film to the end. Also “Beauty Parlour” (comedy), and News. Cabaret prices. Jackie Coogan’s latest picture — a story of the race track “Johnny get your hair cut,” will screen on Friday next at usual prices.
