SOCIAL AND DANCE

A social evening' was tendered members of the Foxton Football Club and their lady friends in the Masonic Hall last evening by the Committee. There was a large attendance and a most enjoyable time was spent by all present. During the evening vocal and instrumental items were rendered by Misses Coley, Miss Pritchard, and Misses At. and K. Martin. Dancing was indulged in, the music for which was provided by Airs. Ross, and Messrs ,J. Newton and C. Davey. An excellent supper was provided bv the ladies.

During the evening brief speeches were made by the Mayor and Messrs W. E. Bullard and J. Iv. Hornblow.

The committee desire to thank all those who assisted in any way and particularly Airs. Ross and Air. •J. Newton jnr.
