ELECTORAL DISTRICTS
NEW BOUNDARIES
The boundaries of the local and district electoral districts as decided upon by the electoral commissioners are as follow: —
Manawatu district comprises the existing Manawatu electoral district together with that portion of the Fitzherbert riding of Kairanga County lying to the south-east of the north-western boundary of sections 100, 08 and 07, the western boundary of section 96, all of Block 11.. Arawaru Survey District, to the Fitzherbert Road West; thence by the said road to and along the Manawatu Bridge Hoad, to and aloii"- the Fitzherbert Road East, to and along the road forming the north-eastern boundary of section 224, Block XV., Kairanga Survey district, and lying between the north-eastern, south-eastern and south-western boundaries of the existing Palmerston electoral district. Otaki comprises that portion of Wellington City lying to the north of the proposed northern boundary of the Wellington Suburbs Electoral District; also includes the borough of Otaki; the Johnson ville town district, the whole of the Te Boro and Otaki ridings of the Horowhenua County, and that portion of the Whirokino riding of the Horowhenua County, and that portion of the Whirokino riding of the Ilorowhcnua County lying to the southwest of the existing Otaki electoral district boundary. This district also includes Maun and Kapiti Islands.
Palmerston district comprises the existing. Palmerston electoral district less that portion of the Fitzherbert riding of the Kairanga County now included in the Manawatu electoral district.
Oroua district comprises the existing Oroua electoral district together with that portion of the Erewhoii riding of the Rangitikei county lying to the south of the existing Rangitikei electoral district boundary ; also that portion of the Awarua riding of the Rangitikei County lying to the east of the Main Trunk railway line and the eastern boundary of Taihape borough.
