EARTH SLOWING DOWN.
SEASONS NOT AFFECTED. LONDON, May 16. That the world is rotating more slowly is an established fact, according to Dr. Crommelin, who retired from Greenwich Observatory last week. He reassuringly adds, however, that the change will not affect the season s because it will be thousands of years before the day becomes a second longer.
