The condition of Mr. Len Smith, who has been seriously ill for some days with pneumonia and complications, is causing grave anxiety. Upon making enquiries this afternoon we find that' his condition shows no improvement.
Mr. George Henderson, whose name appeared among the list of injured, resulting from the collapsing of the gangway of the Union Company’s steamer, Sussex, at Wellington, last Friday evening, is a brother-in-law of Messrs R. Heath and I). Brooks, of Purcell Street, Foxtori. Mr. Henderson and family were residents of Foxton a few years ago. AD'. Henderson was seriously injured and was removed to the hospital, where an X-ray examination disclosed internal and leg and groin injuries.
